On Friday 1st November, All Saints’ Day, we are holding our annual gift day to support the work of mission of our four churches across the Ministry Area. This year we are doing something new! Half the money raised will go to our churches, and half to a local cause.
Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve invited nominations from you and voting has taken place for our three shortlisted charities. We’re now pleased to announce that our nominated charity will be the Cwtch Baby Bank, who support vulnerable new mums and families with clothing, equipment, toys, toiletries and other important items.
All Saints’ Church will be open from 8am until our Celebration Eucharist at 7pm. During the day, there is a programme of prayer, fellowship and activities, and throughout the day there will be refreshments, spaces to pray and information available about our finances.
Over the last year, we have been encouraged to see our finances becoming more healthy. However, we still have more to do to clear our historic debts to the Diocese and ensure we can cover our expenses.
Please do think carefully and prayerfully about what you can contribute to our Gift Day appeal. No matter how large or small your gift, it will be gratefully and joyfully received. And please also take this opportunity to drop by, learn about our finances and pray for the future of our churches, our Ministry Area and the work of the Cwtch Baby Bank.
With every blessing
